nbat Boss Mounts Nevis


On a recent excursion to relieve the pressures of a high flying media mogul, Jack Dent, Director of nbat digital took a trip north of the border to get a rush of his number one hobby, off road mountain biking.

After a few days of tackling the black runs from Loch Lomond up to Fort William, Jack and his partner decided to take a break from the cycling and climb Ben Nevis.

Being the competitive sort Jack went for a record time and almost nine hours later the pair returned to camp aching, yet victorious.

This is not the first time Jack has shown his adventurous side. Inspired by the successful BBC Series “Long Way Down” (which featured Ewan McGregor and Charlie Boorman riding from Scotland to Cape Town) Jack and a few friends decided, after a cocktail of beer and boisterous conversations, to embark upon their own monumental journey.

Aiming for a location a massive 5 miles across the French/Belgian border (25 miles from Calais) the group set off on the 20 minute ride to the Dover ferry terminal on their vintage Motorbikes with Jack following in his car carrying the essential supplies.
